An introduction to Helping Hands, Grantham...

Can you help?

Helping Hands is a new community group who offer their time free of charge for the benefit and love of the community.

Helping Hands is the brainchild of two incredible ladies, Karen Oliver and Sandra Mullin MBE. Their extensive experience in supporting vulnerable members of the community and fundraising skills speaks volumes about their commitment in making a positive impact.

The main goal at Helping Hands is to improve the lives of those in need in the Grantham community. Through donations of household items, clothes and toys, we will help support countless families who may be struggling. We will help to sign-post those that need specialist support to the appropriate groups related to mental health, finances, domestic abuse, or well-being, and we will be there to support them throughout their journey. The long-running On Yer Bike project is also part of our services, where you can donate, fix or purchase bikes for a fraction of the retail cost.

To deliver our services, we need monetary contributions to help maintain our facilities and cover operational costs. We also need material donations, household items, white goods, cleaning materials and stationary items. We are happy for second-hand goods to be donated.

We hope that, with your support, we can work towards making a lasting positive impact and develop a community where everyone can thrive. By coming together, our shared passion, compassion and dedication will have the power to create positive change and bring about meaningful improvements to those in need.

Please help spread awareness about Helping Hands within your networks, and if you have any spare hours, why not come down and see what we are all about.

Any help, no matter how big or small, would be gratefully received
